Jazz Aviation’s achievements celebrated with new Innovation in Aviation Safety Management Award

Canadian airline, Jazz Aviation, has been selected as the winner of the first Innovation in Safety Management Award.  The award was presented at the gala dinner that followed the first day of the third European Safety Symposium hosted by Baines Simmons at the London Heathrow Marriott Hotel on 15 May 2012.

Judgement day for the new Innovation in Aviation Safety Management Award

The five members of the judging panel for the first Innovation in Aviation Safety Management Award convened at the Royal Aeronautical Society earlier this week (23 April 2012). The purpose of this gathering was to select the winning entry from a very inspiring shortlist of finalists, spanning a broad spectrum of aviation businesses and organisations, both civilian and military. 

Baines Simmons' attendance at this year's ap&m expo (stand number G42) provides an ideal occasion for the business to showcase its unique abilities in assisting the aviation industry to move towards making safety work in a way that positively benefits a whole organisation.

Isle Of Man Aircraft Registry surveyors receive achievement awards

The achievements of four surveyors from the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry, now the seventh largest register of business jets in the world, were marked with awards at a presentation held at Baines Simmons Aviation Training Academy in March 2012. 

Following a rigorous competitive tender process, Baines Simmons has been selected by Brunei Shell Petroleum (BSP) to support the continued evolution and implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) for the company’s Anduki Airfield.
