Improving Maintenance Programme Performance
The management of maintenance programmes by aircraft operators is an essential component of airworthiness management. Although the concept of airworthiness management is not new, it has only recently been reinforced as best practice in aviation rulemaking by the development of the Part M regulations.

This course will provide you with the practical techniques which need to be employed by those required to manage, supervise and administer in-service Aircraft Maintenance Programmes. It will provide you with the skills to improve maintenance efficiency through effective manipulation of your maintenance programme.
The course covers the paradigms and models used by the Type Certificate Holder and Maintenance Review Board. It considers how you can optimise maintenance planning whilst remaining both compliant and safe. Finally it considers some of the newer techniques to managing maintenance, such as power by the hour.
