Organisations wishing to provide airworthiness support to military registered aircraft must meet the MoD’s standards as set out in the Maintenance Approved Organisation Scheme (MAOS). The requirements can seem complex so this course is designed to make MAOS simple. It will help you to interpret and implement the requirements and secure your organisation’s provision of services.
Completing this course will significantly enhance your knowledge and understanding of the EASA and MAOS regulatory frameworks and will enable you to:
- Interpret Defence Standard 05-130 and the MAOS requirements in the context of your own organisation and specific job role
- Assess your organisation’s compliance against the standards required by the MoD to meet their implicit safety objectives
- Develop a practical action plan to implement any necessary changes
- Ensure your organisation is on target to gain / retain MAOS approval
