Baines Simmons has worked with many organisations within the defence sector and built a market leading position in MAOS and DAOS training support services. Our consultants have been directly involved with regulation gap analysis for the MoD regulator (CASD) looking at the similarities and gaps between the new Mil Part 145 and M Defence Standards and the current Military JSP's and JAP's. We operate on an ongoing basis to support, assist and advise the MoD with the development of their regulations and associated structure in both MAOS and DAOS areas.

We are preferred suppliers to BAE Systems Military Air Solutions for Regulatory and Human Factors & Safety Management training and consultancy services. Our initial contract covered training of managers in the EASA airworthiness regulations along with a significant number of Human Factors training courses. All our courses are fully customised to the military aircraft maintenance environment and are delivered by training consultants with both Royal Air Force/Fleet Air Arm and Civil Aviation experience.

Our directors and many of our consultants have had military and civil aviation careers. Our learning is focussed on achieving pre-determined outcomes with our clients and our delegates. We offer a comprehensive and growing range of in-company courses and open courses. All our training meets the EASA system of learning and our own internal quality accreditation standards. In fact we have been competitively selected by EASA and the UK Civil Aviation Authority to deliver many courses across our areas of expertise.
