Chris Drew supports the Continued Airworthiness Focus Group who offer support and advice to EASA in the development of Human Factors guidance and regulation in Europe. EHFAG is attended by global Human Factors experts and together they have set themselves the task of identifying and advising EASA on the remaining Human Factors risks in industry.

During the two day meeting, findings were presented by EASA on the results of its previously circulated Human Factors on-line questionnaire, the results of which were very interesting. The group were asked to provide suggestions that would help EASA in addressing some of the issues identified by the questionnaire. An additional plenary session took place in the afternoon where renowned Human Factors expert Sidney Dekker presented the HF aspects of the Turkish airlines accident at Schiphol.
