EASA Part 145 requires that Maintenance Error Investigators form an integral part of an organisation's Error Management System.  Through a series of practical activities, including realistic interview skills practice, this course gives participants the confidence and competence to conduct effective investigations and present findings. 
 
Key Content
  • Overview of Human Factors and Error Management, specifically error, rule-breaking and defences
  • The Boeing Maintenance Decision Aid (MEDA) investigation tool
  • Investigation scenarios and interview skills, including planning, questioning techniques and dealing with difficult situations
  • Collection of evidence and analysis of results
