2nd HK Airworthiness Course (Xiamen) in Mainland China
Following the initial success of Baines Simmons Asia Pacific with the management and presentation of the 1st HK Airworthiness Course in Cathay City, Hong Kong, they have just completed the second course at TAECO’s Technical Training Centre in Xiamen, China.
Thirty-seven (37) delegates attended the course, with several of the attendees coming from the local TAECO organisation. There was also significant representation from HAESL and Hainan Airways organisations. The feedback from all the delegates was very positive with all scoring the course as ‘very relevant’ and ‘beneficial’ to their current job roles.
As previously there was collaborative regulatory support from the Hong Kong CAD and the Mainland China CAAC. The majority of the course was presented by Richard Cheong, Managing Director, Baines Simmons Asia Pacific Ltd, with limited valuable support from Richard Simpson, Baines Simmons Ltd, together with guest speakers from key organisations in the region.
Richard Cheong commented on course completion “Although tired, I experienced immense satisfaction and truly believed the interactive experience & feedback from the course, have created a solid foundation for further improvements and greater success in our future organized training events”
The HKCAD continues to be impressed with the management and high standard of the course and have requested that Baines Simmons Asia Pacific manages the next Airworthiness Course scheduled for the third or fourth quarter of 2009.
