David is a consummate professional with over 40 years extensive aeronautical experience spread across a wide mix of organisational cultures, operational environments, financial situations and aircraft types. He has held senior engineering and quality practitioner positions in commercial airlines around the world including a number of prestigious start-ups where he was directly responsible for creating the obligatory technical, quality and safety systems.

Consults to create new departmental structures, processes and systems from scratch – projects include - easyJet Quality System and Emirates Technical Services.
Consults and advises in aircraft inspections, lease returns, new aircraft acceptance and purchases - delivered over two hundred new aircraft for airlines & leasing companies and has performed many C of A inspections for the Isle of Man Government
Consults as a Certified Lead Auditor - skilled in auditing manufacturers, maintenance organisations and airlines. - projects include easyJet audit programme performing audits to the satisfaction of the UK CAA
Career background and experience
David has held senior positions within brand new start ups such as Group Quality Manager - easyJet, Technical Director - Regal Bahamas Airways and Head of Technical Services – Emirates. He has also held positions with Gulf Air, Guinness Peat Aviation and BOAC/BA. He has spent many years in the Middle East, Africa and The Bahamas. He holds an EASA Part 66 B1 and C Licence covering piston, prop jet and pure jet aircraft and has an MSc in Air Safety Management (with Distinction).
