Jenny O'Donnell

Jenny is a professional consultant specialising in safety management, investigation and human factors training and consultancy. As an investigator she has in-depth experience of incident, accident and event management. Jenny’s enormous expertise, experiences and high energy are invaluable in the facilitation and consultancy services she provides clients and delegates.

Career background and experience

Jenny is a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and the International Society of Air Safety Investigators. She is a Chartered Engineer with a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering and an MSc in Human Factors and Safety Assessment in Aviation. Jenny was awarded the MSc Director’s prize for her MSc in 2007.

Jenny has worked as a flight safety officer, ground school instructor and human factors consultant. Her achievements include:

Nomination for the ‘Female Engineer of the Year’ award.
Providing comprehensive flight safety support of 1100+ aircraft worldwide from flight operations, human factors and technical perspectives.
Successfully instructing BAe 146/RJ ground type rating courses to flight crews from a variety of operators.
