John Fisher

John has worked in aviation for 30 years, split equally between a career with the RAF and in commercial aviation. During this time he has held senior management roles specialising in Continuing Airworthiness and Safety Management Systems and worked for the CAA as a Senior Airworthiness Surveyor where he deepened his knowledge of Part 145 and Part M organisations including associated AOCs and Part 21 manufacturing organisations.

Career background and experience


Following a successful career with the RAF, John has since gained extensive civilian and regulatory aviation experience in Line Maintenance, Continuing Airworthiness Management, Quality Systems and Safety Management. John is an authorised airworthiness surveyor for the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry which is managed by Baines Simmons on behalf of the Isle of Man Government and consults on a broad range of Safety Management programmes.
