Course Objectives

What will this course do?

Targeted at production organisations that also have Part 145 approval, this highly practical, skills-focused course is designed to develop you and your team’s competence in completing the EASA Form 1. Completion of Form 1 is not just a necessary legal procedure to declare the authorised release of a product, part or appliance after manufacture or maintenance. The process should be viewed as an important defence that protects you and your organisation from safety, financial or reputational risk. The course includes developing your understanding of the compliance issues involved with moving parts from production to maintenance and is a practical and value-adding alternative for those seeking continuation training for their Certifying Staff.

What will I learn?

By the end of this course you will understand:

  • Your responsibilities and accountabilities as Certifying Staff
  • The privileges and limitations within the scope of your Organisation Approval
  • The purpose of Form 1 and its different uses
  • How to complete and audit Form 1s
  • The interaction between different approvals at the same organisation
Benefits of attending – for you and your organisation

You will know how to:

  • Explain your accountabilities and responsibilities as Certifying Staff
  • Complete Form 1s
