For many, establishing a Human Factors programme is just another part of meeting the obligations as an EASA Part 145 approved organisation. However, a truly effective Error Management System (EMS) will not only satisfy the Regulator but also provide you with a powerful means to impact your business’ bottom line – unlocking your potential to proactively influence business decisions through objective and quantifiable data.
How will this course benefit me?
This advanced course aims to take you from the stance of simple regulatory compliance to forward- thinking proactive methods of managing errors which will help make your business more effective.
You will discover the fundamentals of a successful EMS, identify key elements that might be missing in your own systems and leave the course with a strategy implementation document, a checklist of the key elements of an EMS and several case studies of best practice.

Course details
Course format: This course is a balanced mix of group discussions, flipchart work and PowerPoint presentations. Managed syndicate exercises give you the opportunity to practise the application and evaluation of new processes and techniques.
Course level: Practitioner Level Training (P) is suitable for those who have worked in the subject for some time, are familiar with core terminologies and concepts and are looking to develop or update their level of knowledge and practical understanding.
Assessment process: Course assessment and feedback from the facilitator.
Course size: 16 persons maximum at our Aviation Safety Academy or on-site at your facility
