Baines Simmons enters 2016 Henri Coanda Challenge for 2nd year running….Will we win?!
Baines Simmons is once again really excited to be taking part in the Henri Coandã Challenge, joined this year by a team from our new owners, Air Partner.
The Henri Coandã Challenge is a fun and informal annual sailing challenge which brings together those in the civil aviation community in a wonderful team building event to support Combat Stress (www.combatstress.org.uk) – the veteran’s mental health charity to combat mental stress.
Keen sailor and skipper (and founder director of Baines Simmons), Bob Simmons, said: “This is a great team building event and we are delighted to have the chance to show Air Partner what we’re made of. Bring it on!
“This great challenge is a growing social and yacht racing event and given the real and tangible success of last year, we can’t wait to take part. The buzz around our office after last year’s event was incredible… it created significant team building benefits and a feel-good factor from trying something new. We’re also delighted to support Chestnut Tree House which is a very worthwhile cause.”
Race veteran and Baines Simmons Principal Consultant, Colin Russell, adds: “We don’t hold the trophy at the moment, but will be trying hard to win it this time round!.. Can you get a team together and try and beat us?”
It seems the challenge is on…
