Baines Simmons wins BSI Certification
Aviation safety integration specialist, Baines Simmons, has just won certification for the BSI Group’s respected ISO 9001:2008 quality management system standards.
Baines Simmons has long held its own internal quality system and was confident the company was managed in a highly effective manner with impressive levels of client satisfaction. As the business has grown and matured, its senior management wanted to gain an independently generated benchmark for its world class quality credentials and to provide a framework for monitoring and improving performance.
The audit involved a detailed examination of the processes that have worked to earn Baines Simmons a reputation as an exemplary provider of aviation safety solutions. This included investigation of management responsibility, continuing professional development (CPD), consultant development and client feedback mechanisms.
Following the audit, J D Boulton, Team Leader at the BSI reported: “The Managing Director exhibited total commitment to the application of all ISO 9001:2008 principles. Company personnel were viewed to be fully involved with the Quality Management System philosophy and objectives that have been cascaded through their personal objectives.”
