Mideast Aircraft Services Company (Masco) awards an EASA training project to Baines Simmons
Mideast Aircraft Service Company – MASCO (an EASA Approved Part 145 AMO) a wholly owned maintenance provider by Middle East Airlines – Airliban S.A.L holder of (EASA Part M CAMO approval) has commenced an intensive EASA Regulations and Safety Training program with a leading independent aviation safety improvement consultancy Baines Simmons. The training is aimed at consolidating an understanding of the European Aviation Safety Agency regulatory requirements.
The contract, worth in excess of £60,000, involves Baines Simmons supporting MASCO through delivery of a number of regulatory, quality and safety training courses. Baines Simmons will engage with a number of key employees throughout the maintenance organisation for a period of three months.
The training courses are custom-designed to meet the client’s objectives, with Baines Simmons working in close partnership with the company’s stakeholders to evolve the optimum approach. It commenced with an onsite visit to establish an understanding of the current status and the desired outcome for MASCO.
Working with bespoke training resources, Baines Simmons’ expertise is being brought to bear and will deliver a greater emphasis on not just the wording of the regulations but the meaning behind the wording. This will result in greater benefits in terms of safety, efficiency and business performance and will also deliver ongoing EASA compliance for the company.
