Airworthiness Surveyor 

Craig is a highly experienced Airworthiness Surveyor with over 40 years of aviation experience, ranging from Part 66 licenced fixed and rotary wing engineer, to Technical Services and Continuing Airworthiness Management positions, with 3 years spent as an Airworthiness Inspector for the Bermuda Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA).

Expertise and capability 

An experienced Airworthiness Surveyor bringing vast experience in Certificate of Airworthiness initial issues/renewals/exports, with various National Aviation Authorities on  a wide variety of fixed and rotary wing aircraft types ranging from general aviation, private/business aviation to large commercial airliners.

Career background and experience 

Craig started his career as a licenced aircraft engineer, before moving into Continuing Airworthiness Management, holding a number of senior management positions. Craig had previously worked for Baines Simmons as an Airworthiness Surveyor and account manager for the Isle of Man Aircraft Registry (2009 to 2019), before returning as an Airworthiness Technical Standards Surveyor in 2022. Between these times, Craig spent 3 years as an Airworthiness inspector for the BCAA managing the safety oversight of numerous approved Maintenance and Continuing Airworthiness organisations, and the Principle Airworthiness Inspector for a number of prominent international airlines working under an ICAO 83 bis arrangement.
