What are the practical skills and competence required for managers in approved organisations faced with having to recover an approval following a Level 1 or multiple Level 2 findings from your aviation authority?

Having the right skills and confidence within the management team is crucial if your organisation is to retain its approval following a serious audit finding. Under the direction of the Accountable Manager/Duty Holder, the management team will need to be able to quickly and effectively investigate the underlying problems by conducting root cause analysis of the situation. You will then need to be able to plan and implement appropriate corrective actions and demonstrate to your regulator that actions are being taken to redress the problems and prevent them from reoccurring.
