He provides insightful strategic and technical leadership support to client regulatory and airworthiness engagements. Board Safety Trusted Advisor – Bob has worked with several major international airlines and their suppliers advising on both human and airworthiness safety standards.
Strategic Consulting for safety improvement, regulatory policy, quality management and technical projects – Bob has managed over 100 successful client projects through his team.
Outsourced Managed Services Expert to Authorities in the defence and civil sectors, seeking technical competence, service and cost improvements. Recent projects include building the 7th largest business aircraft registry in the world and the establishment of a competent authority for military compliance approval audits.
Career background and experience

Bob joined the Royal Air Force in 1978 before becoming a civil licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, qualified on a range of Boeing, Airbus and Douglas aircraft. He served as a UK CAA Senior Airworthiness Surveyor with responsibility for Continuing Airworthiness policy and implementation in the UK. He is an Incorporated Engineer with the Engineering Council, sits on the Airworthiness Technical Advisory Committee of the I Mech E and is a trustee of the International Federation of Airworthiness.
