Safety management has been a commonly used term in commercial aviation for a few years now. The Continuing Airworthiness Regulation (EU)1321/2014 has been amended by the adoption of Opinion 06/2016 which introduces the concept of safety management into Part-M. Although safety management is a familiar term, what does it actually mean to those managing the continuing airworthiness of their fleets? What terminology is going to be introduced into legislation? Do I need to do anything differently as a result? Our 1 day workshop will answer these and more questions in a friendly open environment, enabling you to gain a deeper understanding of the changes required to your organisations.

This course is designed to meet the needs of staff and organisations who want to understand what introducing safety management into a CAMO means. Workshop details
Course format: The workshop will follow the concept of facilitation as opposed to instruction. It is a balanced mix of PowerPoint Presentations and challenging interactive discussion.
Course level: Practitioner Level Training (P) is suitable for those who have worked in the subject for some time, are familiar with core terminologies and concepts and are looking to develop or update their level of knowledge and practical understanding.
Assessment process: No formal assessment. Formative feedback is provided by the facilitator.
Course size: 16 persons maximum at our Aviation Safety Academy or on-site at your facility
